Assistant Service Manager
Wood Automotive Group needs an Assistant Service Manager at Woodridge Ford Lincoln. This position will support the current Service Manager in operating an efficient and profitable Service Department. Primary objectives include ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, supervision of drive through and office staff, controlling costs, maintaining good employee relationships and updating service records. As well, the Assistant Service Manager will perform all duties of the Service Manager, in his absence.
Other responsibilities may include:
- Maintaining department expense control
- Monitoring of Repair Orders to increase shop hours
- Ensuring all aspects of Service are carried out in a prompt, efficient manner
- Ensuring proper maintenance of Cash Office and Drive Through
- Performing Developmental Assessments on subordinates
- Identifying and implementing training needs for staff
- Adopting and demonstrating a leadership style that emphasizes the concepts of customer awareness, team-approach, coaching of subordinates and open communication
This successful candidate will have:
- Previous Service Advisor experience
- Organizational Skills
- Customer Service Skills
- Ford Experience
