Internal Posting – Parts and Service Manager

 

Okotoks Ford Lincoln would like to announce the opening of the Parts and Service Manager Position within it’s dealership.  Reporting to the GM, this position will oversee the entire fixed operations of the dealership and will be responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining a loyal clientele 
  • Maintaining the highest Customer Service rating from customers by handling customer complaints immediately and according to dealership policy 
  • Ensuring service is performed at the highest level 
  • Preserving good employee relations 
  • Hiring, supervising and monitoring all service and parts personnel  
  • Providing training on policies and procedures for all department personnel  
  • Setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives, while maintaining service and parts records  
  • Creating an annual operating budget  
  • Creating a marketing plan to promote new and repeat business    
  • Keeping up-to-date on manufacturer warranty and policy procedures while serving as a liaison with factory representatives     
  • Cost control 
  • Upholding the highest ethical standards 
  • Creation and implementation of proactive marketing strategies
  • All aspects of Parts Inventory Management    

            

The ideal candidate will be a proven leader, dedicated to customer service and staff relations. Good organizational skills, attention to detailed paper work and an ability to put strategies in place for retail promotions are also required.   Related parts/sales familiarity, along with leadership experience is required.
